Does
Xenadrine Efx Work
Once again,
there is no universal answer to the question "Does Xenadrine
Efx Work?" But, there is a universal biological mechanism
that thermogenic supplements such as Xenadrine
Efx trigger to help us lose weight.
Before we
can answer the question... "Does Xenadrine Efx Work,"
we need to review how thermogenic diet pills such as Xenadrine
Efx work in the body.
Our bodies have three broad heat modulators: the thyroid hormones,
the adrenergic hormones (epinephrine and the weaker norepinephrine),
and the prostaglandin hormones.
Xenadrine Efx seems to boost the supply of the adrenergic hormones,
which mobilizes fatty acids from our triglyceride stores and forces
the skeletal muscles to use more fatty acids for heat production.
This results in increased energy expenditure and a loss of body
fat when you exercise and diet correctly. Although synephrine/caffeine
stacks are milder than ephedrine/caffeine stacks, they can still
cause side effects if not used with care. (For more information
about mild side effects associated with Xenadrine Efx, see Xenadrine
Efx Side Effects.)
Thermogenesis
Synephrine
Synephrine is a chemical cousin of ephedrine. It has a similar
ability to boost thermogenesis by increasing your metabolic rate.
Synephrine can also promote fat breakdown and suppress appetite.
It is less stimulating on the central nervous system than ephedrine,
so it is a good alternative to ephedrine for sensitive individuals.
Citrus aurantium is the best natural source of synephrine.
Caffeine
The second key ingredient – caffeine – is a methylxanthine
that stimulates fat burning. The caffeine in Xenadrine EFX comes
from green tea, cocoa extract and yerba mate. Caffeine works by
increasing free fatty-acid concentrations and adrenaline levels.
This results in greater lipolysis (oxidation of fats for energy),
which can drain your fat stores over time. This change in a muscle's
utilization of energy substrates can have a profound effect on
fat loss. Caffeine also heightens mental alertness, which can
positively affect your motivation to exercise and thereby help
create the caloric deficit you need to lose body fat.
Cocoa extract and yerba mate also contain theobromine, a metabolite
of caffeine that has many of its stimulant properties. This plant
chemical should help to promote fat loss when given in sufficient
quantities.
L-tyrosine
Tyrosine promotes thermogenesis by providing more of the raw material
needed to produce the neurotransmitters and thyroid hormones in
charge of regulating your metabolic rate. As such, tyrosine works
with the synephrine/caffeine stack to boost your metabolism and
help you to reduce your fat stores.
Appetite Suppressant
The synephrine/caffeine stack reduces appetite, which seems to
account for about three-quarters of the weight loss you might
experience. The other one-quarter is accounted for by increased
thermogenesis.
At fairly high doses, this can cause a significant increase in
the number of calories burned each day. In one trial published
just this year, 50 mg of ephedrine was given to volunteers three
times per day. Under these controlled conditions and using very
precise monitors to measure energy expenditure, it was found that
3.6% more energy was expended in a 24-hour period.
DMAE boosts the level of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which
can increase energy, focus and attention span. Since many people
eat more than they are feeling "down," this may make
you less hungry and therefore less likely to go off your diet,
with resulting fat-loss benefits.
For most people,
the only way to really find out the answer to the question "Does
Xenadrine Efx Work" is to actually try it out for yourself.
